This year, HMCT partnered with Google to sponsor a brief for this prestigious international contest based in London. Our brief, Typographic Notes: The Empowerment of Music, challenged design students to find a genre, song or musical movement that best represents a cause and use typography to bring it to life. Our brief garnered almost 22,000 downloads in 119 countries; and we were number one in entry submissions. HMCT also provided one of the judges, ArtCenter Professor of Graphic Design Ty Drake, who is judging the work remotely.
