Guest Poet: Harry Gamboa Jr.

IN PERSON: Monday, December 11 @ 4–6 PM

Harry Gamboa Jr. is co-founder of the Chicano Art group, ASCO (1972–1985) and currently serves as co-director of the Photo and Media Program at CalArts. His work has been exhibited by museums nationally and internationally, and he has taught, lectured, and served on panel discussions at various universities and art institutions. We are honored that Harry wrote a poem, Nothing Left, for the fall Archetype Press class at ArtCenter College of Design, which the students used as the basis for a limited edition collaborative book, that interprets his words through text and image using hand-set wood and metal foundry type and letterpress printed.

Join us on Monday, December 11 from 4 to 6pm for a special presentation of the book and a reading of the poem.
