HMCT is proud to partner with LETRÁSTICA FESTIVAL, an in-person event held every two years in Guadalajara, Jalisco. The Festival is an international typography and design meetup that includes conferences, workshops and exhibitions of an international level, plus demonstrations, professional critiques and an open forum. It also affords the chance for professionals, the creative industry, enthusiasts and the general public to come together and make connections.

This year, HMCT Exhibitions and Graphic Designer Lavinia Lascaris, along with HMCT LatinX Fellow Ximena Amaya will officially unveil our newest publication, Mujeres Hispanas y Tipografía, documenting the 2021 HMCT Typographers-in-Residence program, celebrating the talent and contribution of five Hispanic women designers, researchers, and educators to the field of graphic design and typography.
