Workshop: Arabic Calligraphy
Explore the art of Arabic calligraphy with Abdelrahman Barakat on Saturday, August 24 from 1 to 4 PM at HMCT Archetype Press.

This workshop will cover the basics of writing Arabic script, the anatomy and proportions of letters, and guide you in creating a unique calligraphic art piece. Perfect for all skill levels, join us to enhance your calligraphy skills and create beautiful, artistic patterns.

About the Instructor: Abdelrahman Barakat is an artist whose journey began with classical calligraphy. He has significantly contributed to integrating calligraphy into the broader creative scene. Expanding his expertise, Abdelrahman explored lettering and typography, leading to co-founding Hadath Alkhatt, a premier event and hub that unites calligraphers, type designers, graphic designers, and artists.

The HMCT (South Campus) Gallery is free and open to the public. It is accessible when school is in term, seven days a week from 9 AM to 7 PM.
