Dafi Kühne

HMCT Archetype Press hosted our first Artist-in-Residence, Swiss artist Dafi Kühne, from February 25 through March 2, 2019. To see our video of Dafi’s time at the Press, click here.

Dafi Kühne is a graphic designer, typographer, and letterpress printer. He studied in Zürich at the Visual Communications Department of Zürich University of the Arts. After learning the traditional skills of letterpress printing, he focused on more contemporary methods, exploring the potential of using newer technologies in combination with traditional printing equipment.
