"Avant Garde" was a groundbreaking arts and culture magazine published in New York from January 1968 to July 1971. Ralph Ginzburg served as the Editor and Publisher. The magazine’s distinctive logo gave birth to the ITC Avant Garde Gothic typeface, which was designed by Lubalin.
