The HMCT Archive welcomes physical contributions of typographic materials—books, posters, type specimens, design ephemera, and other resources that document the practice and history of typography. These materials are accessioned and made available for research and teaching across ArtCenter and beyond.
To discuss a potential donation, please email our Archivist, Susan Malmstrom.
Become a sponsor
Sponsorship at HMCT supports the ongoing study of typography as a critical part of visual communication. Sponsors help commission research, fund public programs, and make it possible for students to work alongside designers and scholars. These collaborations shape how typography is studied, taught, and applied in professional practice.
Sponsors are credited across HMCT’s initiatives and invited to participate in conversations about the evolving role of typography in education and industry. Partnerships can extend to co-developed programs, research support, or special commissions that reflect shared values in design and learning.
