Carolee Campbell's Ninja Press, launched in 1984, designs and prints books, broadsides, and keepsakes handset in metal type and printed letterpress on a Vandercook Universal I flatbed proof press. Campbell, the sole proprietor of the Press designs, prints, and binds each of the editions with most of the work focused on contemporary California poetry. The work has been collected by libraries, universities, and repositories of fine letterpress throughout the U.S.
