Founded by Rick Valicenti in 1988, Thirst first emerged as a forward-leaning design practice called R. Valicenti Design (1981). Valicenti, along with over 100 collaborators, served highly visible clientele in the design, architecture, performing arts and education communities. During its practice from 1988-2009, Thirst received virtually every international design award recognition.
