Join us at Archetype Press as we present a one-day, hands-on letterpress workshop with Ken and Shino Charlson of Altadena-based Fugu Fugu Press. They will guide participants through the process of designing and printing their own greeting cards using classic printing techniques. Participants will take home a small edition of their original cards. All levels of experience are welcome. Registration fee is $150 and includes all materials. Following the workshop, join us for an informal talk, The Art of the Playful Print,as Ken and Shino share the story behind Fugu Fugu Press. Learn how they blend analog technique with artistic play and how their love of simplicity, color, and charm has defined the studio’s voice. The talk is free and open to the public.
