Algorithm and Rhyme: Allison Parrish and Zach Lieberman
Artists Allison Parrish and Zach Lieberman discuss how emerging technologies with computing and code are expanding creative possibilities in design and language. From generative design to machine-assisted poetry and interactive visuals, artists are applying these technologies in innovative ways. Moderated by ArtCenter faculty member Ivan Cruz, the panel explored the artists’ work, the use of code as a creative tool, and the evolving relationship between technology, design, and education.
Organized by HMCT in partnership with @lacma and presented in conjunction with “Digital Witness: Algorithmic Spaces for Typography and Language” at HMCT Gallery and “Digital Witness: Revolutions in Design, Photography, and Film” at LACMA.
