Cecilia del Castillo & Fer Cozzi

In their respective presentations, Cecilia del Castillo (Mexico) and Fer Cozzi (Argentina) present their work and process in type design. Drawing from her Mexican heritage and calligraphic passion, Cecilia discusses the intricate fusion of cultural influences in her work. Meanwhile, Cozzi, outlines her exploration of letterforms, combining randomness and subtle rationality.

Faride Mereb & Oriana Nuzzi

In this presentation, Faride Mereb (Venezuela), an art director, book designer, and educator, and Oriana Nuzzi (Venezuela), a graphic designer with a background in photography and visual arts, delve into the typographic and layout choices behind the publications of Letra Muerta. Founded in 2014, Letra Muerta is an independent publishing imprint that prioritizes archival work, cultural rediscovery, and literary integrity.

Beatriz Lozano & Claudia Rubín

In this final installment of our three-part series, graphic designers Beatriz Lozano (Mexico/USA) and Claudia Rubín (Puerto Rico) share insights into their work. Beatriz unveils examples of identity design at the intersection of typography, technology, and activism.
