One of the founders of the New Wave design style during the 1970–80s, April Greiman is considered one of the most important graphic designers of the beginning of the digital design revolution. Greiman studied at the Kunstgewerbeschule, Basel, has authored several important books on graphic design, and is internationally exhibited.

Now based in Los Angeles, her work fuses her Swiss design training with West Coast Postmodernism. The HMCT collection includes over twenty posters (some signed), dating from 1978-2004.
