Armin Hofmann (1920-2020) was a Swiss graphic designer and design educator, considered one of the most influential figures of Swiss design. Through a regular visiting professorship at Yale University of Art in the 1960s through the 80s, Hofmann introduced the Swiss design style to the United States. One of his most famous students was Wolfgang Weingart.
