Getty Marrow Exhibition Internship at HMCT

Jun 5, 2025

Earlier this summer, HMCT participated in the Getty Marrow Undergraduate Internship Program, an initiative of the Getty Foundation that provides paid summer opportunities for undergraduate students from groups historically underrepresented in the visual arts. Administered by the Getty Foundation, the program places interns across Los Angeles County in core areas such as curatorial work, conservation, education, publications, and public programming. Open to students from all fields of study, the initiative aims to increase diversity and access within the arts and museum sectors. Over the past three decades, the Getty Marrow Undergraduate Internship Program has supported more than 3,700 interns at over 175 Los Angeles–area institutions.

HMCT was pleased to contribute to this effort by hosting, Averylin Cummins, a Occidental College student, during the program term.
