Leah Hoffmitz Milken (1952-2014) was a highly regarded typographer and letterform designer, and esteemed faculty member at ArtCenter. Her design clients included FedEx, Nokia, Neutrogena, Disney, United Airlines, and more. She was also passionate about the history of alphabets and letterforms. The HMCT was founded in her memory, and her collections formed the core of the HMCT Archives. Materials include professional and personal design work, and books covering typography and graphic design history and theory.
